This heirloom exhibition variety was named after a small island off the coast of Scotland and dates back to around 1887.

Ailsa Craig is a large, globe shaped onion with golden, straw coloured skin and produces weighty onions perfect for the show bench. The excellent keeping qualities and mild flavour make it a superb variety for the home gardener too.

Each packet contains enough seed to produce enough onions for the whole family and to enter local gardening competiotions.
