A mid season black variety from Russia.  Particularly well suited for cooler climates.

High quality, dark purple almost black heirloom that rivals hybrids.

Fruits are round to slightly flattened with deep purple mahogany color and luscious, rich flavor. Great eaten fresh or cooked.  Like all Russians it can stand up to cool conditions.
