Cucumis melo. One of the prettiest heirloom melon varieties almost ornamental. This old American variety produces lots of round shaped fruit. Netted green skin colour with grey striping and bright salmon orange flesh, average weight about 1-2 lb. Absolutely delicious and very productive. This is a favourite variety with our customers both in our farm shop and at our stand at farmers markets in France. Because of it's hard skin this melon has deliciously juicy flesh and keeps well. .
