Potimarron winter squash has dry flesh with distinct nutty flavour. (marron is the word for chestnut in French). One of the prettiest winter squash varieties almost ornamental.

This large bush squash variety produces lots of teardrop shaped fruit. Bright orange color hard skin when ripe with bright orange flesh, average weight about 2/3 lb. Keeps very well , we are still selling last years crop on our market stall at the end of January.
